Sophia Harringer was awarded a GÖCH Förderungspreis for her dissertation "Lead structure optimization for the development of organometallic anticancer drugs". The award ceremony was held at the GÖCH general assembly, chaired by GÖCH vice president Prof. Christian Huck during the "Chemietage 2022".
Sophia graduated at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry in April 2021 in the group of Bernhard Keppler/Wolfgang Kandioller. She has already recieved an Award of Excellence, sponsored by by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF), for her dissertation in 2021.
